Straeon Research is an independent Welsh research and evaluation consultancy, incorporated in Cardiff in 2020, whose name means “stories” in Welsh. The organisation provides research, evaluation, and project management services for people, communities, and organisations, driven by a commitment to participatory and human-centred approaches.

Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA)
Wales Council for Voluntary Action is the national body for volunteering and the voluntary sector in Wales, providing support, advice, and resources to thousands of third sector organisations and volunteers. WCVA advocates on behalf of civil society to the Welsh Government and other stakeholders, helping shape policy that affects communities across the country.

Monmouthshire County Council
Monmouthshire County Council is the local government authority for Monmouthshire, a largely rural county in south-east Wales on the border with England. Monmouthshire is committed to fostering connected, sustainable communities and has been recognised for its collaborative approach to public service delivery.

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is part of NHS Wales, providing primary, community, hospital and mental health services to around 450,000 people across Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Dwr Cymru Welsh Water is a not-for-profit company providing water and sewerage services to around 3.2 million customers across most of Wales and parts of England.

JOMEC Journal
The JOMEC Journal is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic publication from Cardiff University’s School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies. It publishes original research across journalism, media, communication and cultural studies, with a particular emphasis on interdisciplinary and international perspectives.

Creu Cyffro
Creu Cyffro (meaning “to create excitement” in Welsh) is a Creative Industries Training Programme based at the Redhouse arts centre in Merthyr Tydfil. The programme brought together ten partner organisations, including Community Music Wales, the Wales Millennium Centre, and the Open University in Wales, to offer training in arts, music, acting, and filmmaking to residents of all ages.

Wal Goch Festival
The Wal Goch Festival (Gŵyl Wal Goch) is the world’s first festival of football culture, held annually in Wrexham — the spiritual home of Welsh football and the city where the Football Association of Wales was founded in 1876. Built by fans for fans, the event is rooted in community participation and proudly represents Welsh identity to a global audience.

Planet Magazine
Planet: The Welsh Internationalist is a long-established literary and cultural magazine covering Welsh culture, society, politics, and the arts through an international lens. Founded in 1970 and published bi-monthly, it features writing in both English and Welsh, with contributions from leading authors, academics, and commentators. Planet is widely regarded as an important forum for debate on issues of national and global significance as they relate to Wales.
