Tristan Claridge

We are privileged to host a special visit to Cardiff of Tristan Claridge, the Australian-based President of the International Social Capital Association and Director of the Institute for Social Capital who is visiting as part of a UK-wide tour. He will be joining our Andy Green FRSA to share insights and wisdom on social capital and how it can be harnessed for promoting social good and for creating social change at 11am on Friday October 11th in Cardiff.

A rare opportunity for sharing new insights, exploring challenges, and finding new ways forward in this special live event

Tristian is a graduate of the University of Queensland, Australia. His research on social capital progresses theoretical understanding into practical applications to address poverty alleviation, community development, organisational culture, leadership, and the general challenges of modernity – particularly the role of non-economic forms of capital and their transformative effects on governance.

Andy Green FRSA is a pioneer in creative communications and changemaking author of ‘Creativity in Public Relations’. He is cofounder of the Dublin Conversations, a global collective developing new thinking and doing for the communications industries, and of Grow Social Capital and the Modern Cockney Festival exploring how contemporary social identities can be harnessed to build social cohesion and tackle social division.

Discover:

  • Why social capital is fundamental for social changemakers and communicators
  • Learn how to create bottom-up-led change and communications
  • New tools enabling you to harness social capital in your work and campaigns
